Welcome to RMA GIVES – where creativity meets compassion, and passion finds its purpose.RMA GIVES, alongside its dedicated Board of Directors, is proud to offer two transformative programs designed to support and empower creatives in need:
1. Creative Assistance
This program offers financial aid to creatives facing minor unexpected challenges or hardships. The support provided can include, but not limited to:
Funding for artistic or creative supplies
Assistance with community-building initiatives
Mentorship or networking opportunities
In most cases, support is granted through prepaid services. All decisions regarding assistance are made solely at the discretion of the RMA GIVES Board of Directors, anD are final.
2. Creative Scholarship
This program offers financial assistance to artists pursuing educational or professional growth, enabling them to refine their skills and further their careers. The Creative Scholarship Program is divided into two categories:
Academic Scholarship Program: Financial support for those pursuing formal education or academic development in the creative arts.
Continuing Education/Enrichment Program: Funding for short-term or one-time courses aimed at enhancing or diversifying existing artistic abilities.
The goal of the Creative Scholarship Program is to help artists reach their professional and artistic ambitions.
Program Guidelines
Both programs are evaluated based on submissions received within the calendar year. All decisions by the RMA GIVES Board are final and in line with the established program criteria and application guidelines.

While we are not yet dispersing funds for 2025, however, we encourage you to submit your application now to get in the queue. Once funding becomes available, we will review applications on a rolling basis.
Applying early ensures you’re first in line for support when funds are released.

At RMA Gives, we are committed to empowering Creatives facing challenges. By partnering with businesses and community organizations, we work to provide solutions, find resources, and make meaningful arrangements.
When an artist applies for assistance, our Board of Directors reviews the request to determine how best to help. Once approved, the applicant is notified, and support is on the way!

A short essay explaining your need for assistance.
Photos of your current artwork or creative works in progress.

Academic Scholarship Program: Financial assistance for artists pursuing academic development through educational or scholastic opportunities.
Continuing Education/Enrichment Program: Financial assistance for artists seeking one-time or short-term courses to enhance an already learned skill.
Visual arts: Drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and mixed media
Performing arts: Dance, theater, music, poetry
Literary arts: Writing, storytelling, journalism
Crafts and design: Weaving, furniture-making, jewelry-making
Media arts: Film, TV, animation, visual effects, video, radio, and photography
Clothing design: The study and creation of clothing, fashion
Recipients may use scholarship funds to attend any approved college, university, or enrichment seminar. Funds may help with tuition, room, board, or books. provided expenses are verified and approved by the RMA Gives Scholarship Committee. In the event of vacancies, additional awards may be granted at the discretion of the committee.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: To qualify for an RMA Gives scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Residency: Must be a U.S Citizen and can provide proof of residency of the residing state lived in.
Scholarship awards may be withdrawn if:
The recipient no longer meets eligibility requirements.
Personal conduct is deemed unsatisfactory by the RMA Gives board Committee.
